Checking your own EES status
Is EES down right now?
EES is live and operating at 125 of the 128 Schengen airports we track. No airport is currently suspended. 6 countries also run "flex mode", where officers may revert to faster manual passport stamping when queues get long — a stamp issued that way is still a valid entry record.
How do I check my EES status?
There is no online EES status check, tracker or login. EES has no application and no account: your record is created automatically the first time you cross an external Schengen border after the system went live, and it is only visible to border officers. Anyone charging you to "check your EES status" is running a scam.
How can I see how many days I have used?
EES counts your days the same way the 90/180 rule always has, but you cannot query your own record online yet. Border kiosks show your remaining days when you cross. Until then, count them yourself with the Schengen 90/180 calculator on this site — it uses the same rolling-window arithmetic EES does.
Is there an official EES tracker or app?
There is no official tracker for your personal EES record. The EU does publish a "Travel to Europe" app for pre-filling some of your details before you travel, and that is the only official app. This page tracks the system rollout and the queues; it does not and cannot show your individual record.
